Useful linksRelating documentsWe accept most wordprocessing formats, but LaTeX, framemaker or Word is preferred. The corresponding packages (including detailed instructions for LaTeX preparation) are available on the following sites :
All papers must provide a key-word list including one or more of the conference topics. The final version of the accepted papers will require the sources used during the preparation as well as the files of the figures, ... All submitted papers must be (strictly) in PDF format. Here are some guidelines for generating PDF files that will be widely readable: (1) Use only Type 1 or True Type fonts. Avoid bitmapped, Type 3 fonts. (2) Embed all fonts into the PDF file. (3) Subset fonts at a threshold of 100%. (4) Create the PDF file on the same computer where the original document was created. This will insure that the fonts necessary for viewing and printing the resulting PDF file are available during PDF creation. (5) Do not use Adobe PDFWriter. Use Acrobat Distiller (in the same package as PDFWriter) or Ghostscript instead. PDFWriter does not produce acceptable PDF files except under very limited circumstances. Never, ever, use the PDFWriter if your file contains EPS graphics! (6) Since PDF conversions can have many sources of errors (translating fonts, formats, character sets, etc.), you should always preview the PDF file you generate to verify its correctness.
